Biotium Human Transferrin, CF568 Conjugate, 1 mg
Transferrin is a glycoprotein that binds iron for delivery to vertebrate cells through receptor-mediated endocytosis. After binding to its receptor on the cell surface, transferrin is rapidly internalized by invagination of clathrin-coated pits with formation of endocytic vesicles, the acidic environment favors dissociation of iron from the transferrin-receptor complex. Following the release of iron, the apotransferrin is recycled to the plasma membrane where it is released from its receptor to scavenge more iron. Fluorescent conjugates of human transferrin can be used as tracers for investigation of endocytosis by microscopy. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Red fluorescent CF568 dye has excitation/emission at 562/583 nm.

Biotium MemBrite™ Fix 640/660 Cell Surface Staining Kit, 100 Reactions
MemBrite™ Fix Cell Surface Staining Kits are designed for covalently staining the surface of live cells to conveniently visualize cell boundaries in immunofluorescence experiments. MemBrite™ Fix are new covalent cell surface stains that react irreversibly with cell surface proteins for staining that can withstand formaldehyde or alcohol fixation, and detergent permeabilization. Unlike lectins such as WGA, which bind specific targets that may vary between cell types, MemBrite™ Fix dyes react widely with cell surface proteins. MemBrite™ Fix staining is rapid and non-toxic to cells, and because MemBrite™ Fix dyes are highly water soluble, they stain cells much more evenly than traditional lipophilic membrane dyes like DiO, DiI, PKH, Vybrant, or CellMask™. This trial size kit has reagents sufficient for 100 labeling reactions. The kit contains 1 vial of MemBrite™ Fix 640/660 that is sufficient for 20 uL of 1000X dye after DMSO reconstitution.

Biotium Tyramide Amplification Kit with HRP Goat Anti-Mouse and CF488A Tyramide
Tyramide amplification, sometimes called Catalyzed Reporter Deposition (CARD), is an enzyme-mediated detection method that uses the catalytic activity of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to generate high density labeling of a target protein or nucleic acid sequence in situ. The tyramide amplification method has been reported to increase the sensitivity by up to 100-fold compared to the conventional avidin-biotinylated complex procedure. The kit contains HRP goat anti-mouse CF488A dye tyramide. The dye has an excitation/emission of 490/515 nm. The kit contains sufficient reagent for 50-150 slides.

Biotium GloMelt™ Thermal Shift Protein Stability Kit
GloMelt™ dye undergoes fluorescence enhancement upon binding to hydrophobic regions of denatured proteins. Therefore the dye can be used to detect protein unfolding or measure thermal stability by performing a thermal shift assay, also called Protein Thermal Shift™, differential scanning fluorimetry, or Thermofluor assay. GloMelt™ dye has significant advantages over other environmentally sensitive dyes, such as SYPRO Orange and PROTEOSTAT TS dye. GloMelt™ dye generates a strong signal because it is optimized for detection in the SYBR Green channel of qPCR instruments, and therefore low reaction volumes and low protein concentrations can be used. GloMelt™ dye is compatible with high concentrations of protein stabilizers (such as glycerol and sorbitol), and also protein destabilizers. GloMelt™ dye performs very well in high detergent concentrations, unlike SYPRO Orange. This kit contains no ROX reference dye and has sufficient reagent for 2000 assays.

Biotium Mix-n-Stain™ CF405S Antibody Labeling Kit, 1x(50-100ug) labeling
Mix-n-Stain™ Antibody Labeling Kits are a revolutionary antibody labeling technology that allows you to label your antibody with one of our superior CF dyes in 30 minutes without a purification step. The labeling procedure tolerates many common buffer components and antibody stabilizers. Choose from kit sizes to label 5-20 ug, 20-50 ug, or 50-100 ug of your antibody. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Blue fluorescent CF405S dye has excitation/emission at 404/431 nm. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF350, CF405S, and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.

Fluorescein Labeling Kit-NH2 is mainly used for the preparation of fluorescein-labeled proteins, such as IgG, for immunostaining and labeled cellular proteins for tracing. This kit contains all the reagents necessary for labeling. Amine-reactive fluorescein, a component of this kit, has succinimidyl groups (NHS) that react with the amino groups on proteins. Because this kit also includes a buffer exchange system, a sample containing amine base buffer can be labeled. Although membrane filtration sometimes causes IgG aggregation, the buffer system in this kit prevents aggregation during the concentration of IgG or fluorescein-labeled IgG solution. The excitation and emission wavelengths of the fluorescein-labeled IgG are 500 nm and 525 nm. The molecular weight of the protein to be labeled with this kit should be greater than 50,000. The amount of the protein is 50 ug-200 ug per sample. Dojindo offers various protein labeling reagents. (https://www.dojindo.com/labeling-chemistry/)
